Position Summary: The Corporate FP&A organization is seeking a Manager, Corporate FPA with a specialized focus in IT Finance. This is a new role within the Company to manage key forecast and budget processes, and partner with the IT leaders to achieve the right technology investment at the right pace for the organization to meet its Triple/Double vision. This manager will be responsible for the development of reporting and process to provide transparency to the business on specific operating and capital costs with the IT organization. This is an opportunity to join a dynamic organization in an impactful role which includes frequent interaction with the Finance Executive Leadership Team. Successful candidates for this role will need specific experience analyzing spend within an IT department as well as a knowledge of Corporate FP&A and Corporate Finance concepts, team leadership experience, and strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Job Responsibilities:

• Participate as a key thought leader of the executive finance team, influencing decision making, identifying finance priorities, managing finance staff directly and indirectly
• Develop, implement, and maintain an effective planning and analysis capability that will provide senior leadership with appropriate analytical tools to establish goals and measure performance
• Manage chain-wide forecasting and budgeting processes, including preparation of board-level reporting & presentations
• Maintain and enhance financial forecasting, budgeting, and operational models, while streamlining overall FP&A processes
• Provide variance analysis comparing actual technology spend versus plan, forecast, and prior year by project, where appropriate
• Analyze and report on all aspects of internal technology investments across our business, including service costs, trend analysis and other KPI's and benchmarks
• Perform and coordinate multi-year project-based financial analysis and modeling of IT projects to support reporting of the operating and capital spend. Including assisting in business case preparation
• Partner with Procurement organization to review IT contracts for cost optimization opportunities and to ensure contracts are appropriately accounted for within budgets and forecasts
• Develop and maintain proactive, collaborative partnerships between Corporate FP&A and cross-functional teams within Five Below, including Accounting, Investor Relations, Human Resources, Treasury, and various others

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5-7 years of Financial Planning & Analysis experience
• Extensive financial modeling and forecasting experience, particularly within Information Technology
• Proven ability to lead direct report(s)
• Ability to work independently and within a team; strong team player.
• MBA degree a plus but not required
• Must possess exceptional analytical skills, a high level of attention to detail
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Proficient in Oracle EPM, preferred
• Strong interpersonal skills, self-motivated, well organized; able to multitask and manage multiple deadlines
• Professional and polished presence
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
• Strong work ethic with a high degree of flexibility to work in an ever-changing environment
