Job Summary

The Product Operations team leads the product organization in developing best practices, propagating new ideas, and creating empowered product teams. From ideation through adoption, we are accountable for the processes and tools that the product team uses to create world-class technology. Product Operations creates the conditions for success within the FreeWheel product team by being the catalyst for operational improvement. The Product Operations teams focuses on several key initiatives at any given time and also handles ad hoc needs from the product organization. The Product Operations Manager will lead various activities and initiatives under that framework; specific projects will change as the organization's needs evolve. Key responsibilities in the near term may include: - Conducting an assessment of the Product Organization's current process and knowledge gaps and creating a strategic plan for improvement - Creating and executing on a strategy to drive adherence to product development and pilot best practices - Capturing, tweaking, and rolling out a Roles & Responsibilities portfolio for teams with Product and across FreeWheel who interact with Product. Has in-depth experience, knowledge and skills in own discipline. Usually determines own work priorities. Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience.

Job Description

Core Responsibilities

  • Serve as a business leader who drives change management, iterative process improvement, and program management.

  • Analyze, understand, create, define, document, iterate on, and evangelize Product Management processes and/or tools.

  • Drive multiple stakeholders and cross-functional teams – including Services, Support, Revenue, Operations Excellence, and Engineering Ops – to create and align on processes and tools required by Product Management to function effectively and efficiently. 

  • Empathetically and strategically manage change and drive adoption of and adherence to new and updated process.

  • Contribute to the Operations team strategy and planning.

  • Exercise independent judgement and discretion in matters of significance.

  • Be available for occasional early morning or evening meetings with international colleagues.

  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

About You
Required:

  • BA/BS with 5-6 years working in Project Management, Product Management, or an Operations function
  • Able to solve problems independently with professional knowledge and skills; can perform multiple or complex tasks.

  • Understands both product management and product operations, and should have professional experience demonstrating skills in communication, leadership, and strategy.

  • While extremely detail oriented, the product operations manager must also think holistically across multiple business functions and demonstrate excellent organizational and prioritization skills

  • Ability to be adaptable, independent, and manage time effectively
  • Excellent communication skills
  • A strong sense of ownership for problem solving
  • An attitude of continuous learning and investment in bettering themselves and exploring new operating concepts
  • A self-starting, proactive, "roll-up-the-sleeves" mentality to get the job done
  • Skill in building trust with teams and individuals (both local and remote) through effective interpersonal skills and action-oriented execution
  • Comfort engaging with varied audiences both written and verbally

Desired:

  • Experience working at a B2B enterprise software company
  • Background in Advertising Technology (AdTech)
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, SmartSheet, JIRA, Aha!, and Confluence
  • Experience working with Objectives and Key Results (OKR) frameworks
  • Based in New York, NY preferred

Bachelor's Degree

Salary:

Primary Location Pay Range: $105,909.42 - $158,864.12

Comcast intends to offer the selected candidate base pay within this range, dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience. The application window is 30 days from the date job is posted, unless the number of applicants requires it to close sooner or later.
