Bike Mechanic

This role will involve the sale of parts, new and used bikes, rentals, and guided offerings. Also involved will be to provide skills as a bike maintenance technician and to provide exceptional customer service and education for visitors about our rentals, service, local outdoor and park efficacy, and our guided trip offerings.

• Maintain Zion Cycles Rental Fleet Bikes to keep them in proper working condition

• Perform preventative maintenance on Zion Cycles Rental Fleet

• Maintain customer bikes; including walk in services 

• Maintain and clean service center and shop tools

• Maintaining store aesthetic by cleaning, stocking, and organizing parts and accessories

• Diagnose issues with customer and rental fleet bikes

• Ability to work on all types of bikes; electric, road, MTB, kids, hybrid

• Set up MTBs for guided trips and customer rental

• Sales of bike parts and retail goods; sales of rentals,booking a guided trip, and create a work-order

• Ability to answer the phones and direct callers to the appropriate department

• Staying up-to-date with our brand and product knowledge, company information, sales, and local events. Truly becoming a resource to our customer base

• Work with Purchasing and Shop Manager to order parts

• Providing an outstanding shopping experience and delivering exceptional customer service

• Educating customers about the experience of renting and riding into Zion National Park

• Educating customers about the different guided experiences

• Setting up and sizing people to the correct bikes for their desired riding
