We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Permanent Physical Therapist to become an integral part of our dynamic healthcare team. Our organization is committed to providing the highest quality of care to our patients and we are looking for someone who shares this dedication. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing physical therapy services to patients who have impairments, functional limitations, disabilities, or changes in physical function and health status resulting from injury, disease, or other causes. This role requires a high level of interaction and communication with patients, so excellent interpersonal skills are a must.

Responsibilities:

1. Evaluate patients' physical condition, functional capabilities, limitations, and needs to establish a comprehensive treatment plan.
2. Administer direct patient care per the written and signed prescription of the referring physician.
3. Conduct regular assessments of patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed.
4. Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to share expertise and coordinate patient care.
5. Educate patients and their families about the recovery process and how to manage their condition at home.
6. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care, including progress notes and treatment plans.
7. Adhere to all state and federal regulations regarding physical therapy services, including ethical and professional standards.
8. Participate in continuous professional development and training to stay current with the latest trends and advancements in the field of physical therapy.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy; a Doctorate in Physical Therapy is preferred.
2. Valid state Physical Therapist license.
3. A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Physical Therapist.
4. Demonstrated ability to manage a diverse patient caseload including a variety of ages, diagnoses, and functional abilities.
5. Strong knowledge of physical therapy principles, techniques, and procedures.
6. Excellent interpersonal communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
7. Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritize tasks.
8. Proficient in using computer software and technology for documentation and communication purposes.
9. A compassionate and patient-centered approach to healthcare.
10. Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
11. Current BLS certification.
