CDL A OTR Reefer Drivers in the Midwest - Full-time

Zeitner and Sons Inc. is looking for CDL A OTR Company Reefer Drivers in the Midwest. Come join one of the Midwest’s leading refrigerated truckload carriers, in business for more than thirty-five years. With regional runs the average miles per week is 2,500 to 3,500 practical miles. We are a team committed to safety of the general public, as well as service.

Compensation:

• Mileage pay: 60 CPM
  • 2,500 to 3,500 average practical miles
• Bonuses:
  • Signing Bonus: $3,000.00, paid out over the first year
  • Safety Bonus: $100.00 per month
  • Referral Bonus: $2,000.00
  • Clean Inspection Bonus: Up to $75
  • Productivity Bonus offered
• Paid via direct deposit weekly

Home Time, Route, & Schedule

• Home Time:
  • Home every 7-10 days if located in NE, IA, SD, IL, IN, OH, MI
  • If located outside of those states home time is every 2-3 weeks
• Primary Region: Midwest
• Level of Touch: No Touch Freight

Equipment:

• 2021 or Newer Equipment
• Mostly Kenworth T680 & International Prostar
• Govern speed 70 MPH on the pedal; 70 MPH on cruise
• Have Inverters, refrigerators, APUs
• Fuel Cards
• Electronic logs/Omnitrac system

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 24 years of age  
• Must have CDL A license
• At least 6 months of recent professional OTR driving experience
• A safe driving record
  • No more than 0 preventable accidents in the last 3 years
  • No speeding convictions over 15mph in the previous 3 years
  • No more than 3 moving violations in the last 3 years
  • None of the following major moving violations in the previous five (5) years:
    • Following too closely
    • Erratic lane change
    • Driving while license is suspended or revoked
    • Driving without the proper endorsement
    • Refusing to stop while fleeing from a law enforcement officer
    • Any alcohol related offenses
  • None of the following major moving violations in the previous ten (10) years:
    • Use of a vehicle to commit a felony
    • Vehicular homicide or manslaughter
    • Hit and run, leaving the scene of an accident
    • Reckless, negligent or careless driving
    • Using a commercial vehicle to manufacture, distribute or dispense of a controlled substance
    • Other drug related offenses
• No felony convictions in the previous five (5) years
• Steady work history in previous five (5) years
• Must be able to pass a DOT physical, drug test, road test and background check
