A leading healthcare institution dedicated to providing exceptional patient care and promoting medical innovation is currently seeking a skilled and compassionate Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join their dynamic team of healthcare professionals.This is a full-time, permanent position working for a reputable health system. The CRNA will be based out of a 300+ bed acute care hospital in Pennsylvania. 

The CRNA will be a crucial member of our anesthesia care team, providing safe and effective anesthesia services to a diverse patient population. This position offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative and cutting-edge medical environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Anesthesia Administration: Administer anesthesia to patients undergoing surgical, obstetrical, and other medical procedures, ensuring safe and optimal levels of patient comfort and safety.
  • Preoperative Assessment: Conduct thorough preoperative patient assessments to develop individualized anesthesia care plans.
  • Collaborative Care: Work closely with surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate and optimize patient care during procedures.
  • Monitoring and Adjustment: Monitor patient vital signs and adjust anesthesia as necessary to maintain proper levels of sedation and pain control.
  • Emergency Response: Respond promptly and effectively to any anesthesia-related emergencies, demonstrating critical thinking and swift decision-making skills.
  • Patient Education: Provide preoperative and postoperative education to patients and their families regarding anesthesia, pain management, and recovery.
  • Compliance: Adhere to all regulatory standards, policies, and protocols related to anesthesia care.

Qualifications:

  • Current and valid licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) with certification as a Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA).
  • Graduation from an accredited Nurse Anesthetist program.
  • Certification by the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA)
  • Previous experience as a CRNA, with a strong record of delivering safe and high-quality anesthesia care.
  • Previous CRNA experience ideally within an acute care setting.
