Vending Supervisor, Busch Stadium

The Opportunity 

Delaware North Sportservice is hiring seasonal Vending Supervisors to join our team at Busch Stadium in St. Louis, Missouri. As a Vending Supervisor, you will assist management in carrying out daily operations of the commissary and warehouse department.

Responsibilities 

• Supervises and coordinates activities of vendors.
• Oversees Game-day operations in vending commissaries.
• Ensures quality of products and accurate preparation of all food and beverage items as listed on vendor sheet.
• Ensures a quality appearance of the vending commissaries at all times; ensures that all workstations and storerooms remain clean. 
• Maintains level of inventory for vending commissaries throughout shift, orders replacement stock as necessary.
• Oversees and participates in vendor set-up and closing procedures; balances inventory to cash and closes out point-of-sale system with appropriate reports.
• Picks up the operating bank and enforces company cash handling procedures
• Analyzes and resolves all guests and associates problems with the vending commissary leaders.
• Reports all needed repairs to leadership.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications 

• Previous cash handling/cashier experience required.
• Previous experience in food and beverage vending or other food service work preferred.
• Previous supervisory experience is required. 
• Basic math skills; ability to accurately account for cash and inventory.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills – ability to communicate with team members and prepare written reports after each event.
• Ability to direct the work activities of several associates simultaneously and plan ahead.  
• Ability to work effectively with others.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Physical Requirements 

• Standing and walking for the entire length of shift.
  Frequently required to reach up to 6-7 feet, twist at the waist, bending, and squatting.
• Pushing and pulling occasionally, to move equipment, stock, mops, and brooms.
• Exposed to outdoors and variable temperatures.
