Job Description
Job SummaryThe Single-Family Rental Community (SFRC) Leasing and Resident Relations Specialist is a service-focused role, and reports to the Regional Community Manager, or Community Manager, where applicable. This is a team support position which will consistently uphold our commitment to provide exceptional communities that invite, inspire, and feel like home for our residents. This role will drive the success by ensuring that both the community and team exceed the service standards that we live by.
**Schedule: You must be OK with working the schedule Friday - Tuesday (9AM-6PM Weekdays, 10AM-6PM Sat, 12PM-5PM Sun) , OFF Wednesday and Thursday. No exceptions

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Leasing/Marketing
Ability to work with and support the SFRC team on a market-wide basis.
Ability to be flexible and able to travel to sister market SFRCs to provide assistance or perform unit/property inspections upon request.
Support the Sales Hub and Community Manager in all leasing efforts.
Keen awareness of the business goals (i.e. monthly leasing goals and monthly occupancy goals), how many move ins are needed to achieve the goals throughout the month, and confidence to speak on any ideas to increase velocity as needed.
Foster outreach marketing opportunities on a minimum monthly basis, by working with local businesses, brokers, Realtors, multifamily locators, and any other relevant opportunities in the local market to drive referrals to the community.
Daily community and tour path walks/audits with documentation. Confirm all vacant homes are show-ready.
Act as the subject matter expert for your community's sub-market, keeping in tune with competitive communities and surrounding employment base.
Complete monthly SFRC Market Surveys.
Establish a strong partnership with the Marketing Team to help build brand awareness by providing ideas, stories, photos, etc. Maintain a constant mindset to enhance social media posts, grow qualified leads, encourage resident and broker referrals, and increase a culture of resident engagement.
Ability to analyze and report key performance factors for the community to the SFRC Manager on items such as consistent prospect objections, new competition factors, safety concerns, and any opportunities for increased success at the SFRC.

Proactive: Get ahead of and resolve all resident issues- communicate great stories/wins from residents
Resourceful: Become a super-user of Tricon technology. Ability to train residents on how to submit work orders, rent payments, and surveys
Empathetic: Address resident escalations with a win-win mindset
Report HOA violations to the manager
Post any necessary notices upon request from the local market Office Team
Have a rooted mindset to consistently celebrate the culture of community
Community Management
Superior organization and timely documentation practices
Thoroughly inspect the SFRC daily to identify any potential concerns ranging from construction issues, resident violations, landscape, and common area conditions
Assist the SFRC managers with the weekly Community Manager Report by providing insight and/or updates on maintenance, residents, prospects, major employers, and new construction in the submarket
Support the local market team with retention or collection efforts as needed
Progressively cross train and support the Community Manager, local market office team, and SFRC team as a whole
Execute monthly resident warm calls as assigned by the SFRC managers
Qualifications:
Passionate about providing exceptional customer service
Sense of urgency with the ability to commute to multiple locations within the market
Must be ok with working Saturday AND Sunday
Comfort in learning new software platforms and utilization of technology
Willingness to complete company-paid professional education including, but not limited to a Real Estate License (RE License must be completed within 6 months of hire date) with a future goal to create and manage MLS listing for the SFRCs in the market
Team player who is proactive, reliable, resourceful, and passion to learn and grow
Minimum Requirements:
Customer service experience preferred
Excellent communicator, both verbal and written
Bi-lingual is a plus
Professional appearance and demeanor
Multi-tasking and organizational skills - demonstrated ability to perform multifaceted projects in conjunction with daily activities.
Good reasoning abilities and sound judgement
Reliable transportation resource and ability to travel to multiple sites in the market
