Hardscape Installation Crew Leader

Wesscapes is looking for an Experienced Hardscape Crew Leader to ensure the proper, efficient, and timely completion of installations and repairs that keeps with the high quality standards of our company. Essential Functions and Responsibilities: Complete knowledge in hardscape installation, including but not limited to:Paver walkways Paver patios Paver driveways Retaining walls Edging stones Block and coping steps Outdoor kitchens Fire pits Fire places Cultured stone over concrete walls Concrete walkways, patios, and driveways a plus Etc. Lead a small team of Hardscape Technicians to complete a wide variety of Hardscape projects and tasksGenerally a team of either 2 or 3 Direct Activities on the job site, including coordinating workflow, hands on work, and operating a variety of machinery. Manage personnel effectively and efficiently. Ability to lead a team by utilizing primarily positive reinforcement. Trains crew members with varying degrees of experience and ability in the best practices of installation and company standards. Monitor and account for all tools, equipment, and machinery on site. Identify needed maintenance as soon as it comes up. Always maintain a clean and safe worksite. Communicates well with all crew members, owner, and clientele Strives to improve job skills and develop the potential for upward mobility in the future. Requirements: Highly motivated, self-driven individual who is detail oriented Excellent attention to detail while working in a fast paced environment. Effective verbal and written communication skills Good time management skills and available for long hours during busy season Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record Ability to tow large trailers and skid steer with an F-350 Dump truckAbility to back up and maneuver trailer efficiently and safely Punctual and dependable Familiar with mobile app-based work orders and record keeping a plus. MUST HAVE A SMARTPHONE. Applicants Must Meet the Following Requirements: Must have a minimum of 2 years professional work experience in the hardscaping industry and be able to prove that they have been in charge of installations themselves and/ or led a team of installers themselves Valid Drivers’ License that must be maintained for duration of employment. Abstract will be required upon hire. Ability to work in most weather conditions, including light rain, heat, cold, wind, etc. Ability to perform heavy, physical labor daily. Ability to lift to 50+ lbs. Job Details (Including but not limited to): Monday-Friday 7:30 AM to 4-5:30 PM, Sat. work as needed when necessary due to inclement weather or heavy work schedule. 40-60 Hours Weekly (Approximation) Work Location: Multiple locations Own Transportation to shop is required, Transportation to and from work sites from shop location will be provided. Position Start/ End Date: April through Late November/ December, weather permitting.
