General Warehouse Associate

We are seeking a multi skilled Warehouse Associate to become an integral part of our high volume warehouse. You will primarilly help coordinate outgoing pick and ship activities in our bulk shipping department as well as learn stock keeping, receiving, and order processing in domestic ship out.

We are looking for someone who will take initiative every day to get the ball rolling once you are up to speed. Learning the overall scope of our business throughout departmental cross-training is the overall goal of this jack of all trades warehouse person.

Prior experience with warehouse software, MRP/ERP, LTL packing, and general knowledge of how a warehouse works will be your keys to success.

Prior shipping experience will be beneficial to you hitting the ground running, as well as receiving, stocking, and consolidating parts orders.

We will train you how to use our software and peripherals if needed. General PC knowledge is required for this role.

Responsibilities:

• Pick, pack, ship, stock, and receive items of various sizes
• Use our software to allocate, consolidate, pack, and process shipments
• Prepare palletized orders for LTL shipments
• Maintain an organized workspace
• Assist internal associates with shipping inquiries, tracking requests, etc when neccesary
• Use inventory software to look up bin locations, find parts, and troubleshoot
• Manage inventory items in coordination with our current processes
• Troubleshoot any missing items and get to root cause
• Receiving goods when needed
• Stocking product accurately when needed

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in shipping and logistics
• Previous pick and pack experience
• Experience in a warehouse environment
• Ability to use computers effectively
• Ability to handle daily shipping activities
• Ability to multitask and prioritize
• Ability to thrive in fast-paced environment when applicable
• Strong organizational skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Good time management skills
• Very high ability to count, keep track, and be accurate with ship qtys
• Great work ethic and excellent attendance are a must

Schedule can be somewhat flexible. Full time, M-F
