Fulltime Placement Nanny position working for a family in Boise with an energetic 3-year-old boy. Monday – Friday 8:30AM-4:30PM, 40 hours per week, with some flexibility. There will be some days when care may also be needed for their 6-year-old daughter. Are you looking to make at least a 1-year commitment to the family, potentially longer if the family requests. 1-week paid vacation plus 6 Federal holidays off with pay; New Years Day, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day.

We are looking for an experienced, (2-3 years) nanny who wants to form a lasting relationship working as a direct placement for a family with 2 children, with majority of the care for the 3-year-old.

Responsibilities and Requirements:
We are looking for mature, very active, highly creative, engaging, and child-focused individuals who are willing to have fun, play, read, do arts and crafts and other activities, and provide an attentive and safe care environment for the children in your care.
Knowledge of child development and how to redirect behavior in a firm but friendly way is a plus! Discipline in a positive way outlining natural consequences for behavior.
2+ year(s) childcare, babysitter or nanny experience, preferably including toddler experience.
Must have a reliable insured vehicle for travel to family home
Minimum age of 18, with a valid driver’s license
Hold a minimum of a high school diploma/GED
CPR/FA trained or willing to receive training
Ability to pass and extensive criminal background check going back 7 years
Ability to provide a minimum of 2-3 professional childcare/nanny references
