Hybrid optional with majority of time in office. Must live within travel distance to Thorp, WI

JOB PURPOSE:

Perform functions to lead the full cycle recruiting process, from talent sourcing and attracting candidates to interviewing and hiring, using various resources and recruiting technology, including job boards, social media networks and employee referrals.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develops and implements recruitment processes and sources to achieve recruitment objectives and develop a talent pipeline
  • Collaborates with department managers on a regular basis and proactively identify future hiring needs
  • Implements recruiting, marketing, and advertising strategies gather candidates
    1. Researches and identifies recruitment and industry trends and resources to identify top talent
    2. Identify and represent company at various job fairs in the community and schools
    3. Develops relationships with local communities and schools to serve as pipelines for candidates
    4. Builds and maintains relationships with associates at agencies, high schools, and colleges that generate qualified applicants
  • Executes the full-cycle recruitment process for various levels of positions
    1. Sources and recruits candidates by using multiple resources and methods, including preparing recruitment materials and posting jobs
    2. Screens and filters candidate resumes and applications
    3. Conducts interviews using comprehensive recruiting and selection tools/methods and assessing applicants’ relevant knowledge, skills, soft skills, experience, and aptitudes
    4. Coordinates interviews with interview teams and candidates
  • Monitors and applies recruiting best practices
  • Provides analytical and well-documented recruiting reports to hiring managers and Senior Management regarding open searches, hiring statistics and costs
  • Ensures timely communication with job applicants regarding the status of opportunities and decisions
  • Tracks costs associated with recruiting activities including where relevant, travel and lodging for applicants and relocation services for new hires
  • Manages applicant tracking system and ensures accurate records on recruiting activities and candidates
  • Performs other functions as assigned

MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Education: Associate’s Degree or equivalent experience

Experience and/or Training:

  • 3 years’ experience in full-cycle recruiting for positions in manufacturing
  • 6 months' experience working in applicant tracking system

Technology/Equipment: Proficiency working in Microsoft Office Suite.

PHYSICAL & MENTAL DEMANDS:

Sitting for long periods of time, 6-8 hours per day. Walking, speaking, hearing seeing. Listen and observe the environment for hazard prevention. Use hands for tools and typing.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT:

Indoor office working environment. Office is temperature-controlled all year round. Minimal hazards identified.
