Dental Hygienist

Summary: Specializes in preventive oral health, typically focusing on techniques in oral hygiene. Provide preventive services to promote and maintain good oral health; educational services to help patients develop behaviors that promote better oral health and help them understand the

importance of practicing these behaviors, and therapeutic services or treatments meant to

stop diseases and maintain healthy tissues in the mouth.

Education: 

Graduate from a dental hygiene program with an Associate degree, certificate,

Bachelor’s degree, and/or Master’s degree from a dental hygienist school that is accredited by

the American Dental Association (ADA).

Experience:

Two years of experience with confirmation of written and clinical board examination records.
