Roofing Service & Repair Technician- TPO & Shingle

RoofTek is looking for handy, skilled professionals with maintenance or construction experience to join our Service & Repair Team. If you are an organized professional with good communication skills and are interested in joining a quality growing company, we are awaiting your application!

This job will require your to go up on roofs - so you can't be afraid of heights! You will be trained to do repairs on roofs, both commercial and residential. No roofing experience needed - but you will want to know how to work with a team of pros on a job that has lots of variety and compensates you for being handy.

Responsibilities:

• Membrane installation and repair
• Repair roofs utilizing asphalt shingles
• Repair roofs using Leister heat welder (TPO or PVC roofing)
• Work with Metal Roofs, gutters/downspouts
• Good communication skills - take responsibility and be responsive
• Technology capable- record activity on company apps, sending emails, etc.
• Quick learner
• Photograph and do quality control, inspections, and maintenance on existing roofs
• Use industry best practices to perform repairs (on the job training)
• Personable - able to interact with customers as needed

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in construction preferred
• Must be comfortable working on a roof, using safety equipment
• Must have valid drivers license with no DUI's or other issues
• Knowledge of construction tools, equipment
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Deadline and detail-oriented
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Common sense is a must
