Dietitian Nutritionist II - Healthcare

Sodexo is seeking an experienced Dietitian Nutritionist at First-Health Moore Regional Hospital, located in Pinehurst, NC.  This 425 bed facility is part of a 3-hospital system and the Registered Dietitians support the two smaller campuses as needed. Moore Regional is the flagship hospital for FirstHealth of the Carolinas!  Pinehurst is located ~70 miles southwest of Raleigh and ~50 miles northwest of Fayetteville, NC.  Pinehurst is known for its golf resort and has been designated the "Home of American Golf"!

 

Start with 3 weeks’ vacation and 3 personal days!
Reimbursement for Academy dues, state licensure fees and CDR renewal!
Up to $5000 tuition reimbursement annually!

 

The successful candidate will:

• provide nutritional care for a variety of inpatient units;

• work every 6th weekend providing hospital wide coverage;

• perform quality improvement initiatives such as patient satisfaction rounds and monthly test trays;
• educate healthcare team members, including physicians and nurses; and
• serve as a preceptor for dietetic interns.

• Registered Dietitian credentials and be licensed in NC;
• acute care clinical and nutrition support experience (preferred)
• strong verbal and written communication skills;
• good time management skills be a self-starter and a team player; and

Qualifications & Requirements:

Basic Education Requirement - Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) (Note: For those seeking registration after 2023, a master’s degree will be required)

Basic Functional Experience - 3 years experienced practitioner able to work with minimal supervision

 

Credentials Requirement:

• Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR)
• Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice
• Specialty credential in area(s) of focused practice, as applicable, or advanced practice certification (RD-AP/RDN-AP)
