Obstetrics RN Coordinator - Full-time / Part-time

An outstanding hospital in the Southwest Kansas area is in search of a new Obstetrics RN Coordinator.

This hospital has earned numerous awards for units throughout their facility. In addition, this 50+ bed hospital is accredited in many areas, but notably has a glowing record in their Women and Infant Services. The department is a part of a fantastic system that has received performance achievement awards as well as other accolades. The Obstetrics RN Coordinator will join an organization with an outstanding reputation in the community and across the Central US.

The Obstetrics RN Coordinator will report directly to the Labor and Delivery Manager. Supported by tenured charge nurses and multiple LDRP nurses, this person will join a fantastic team of dedicated nurses willing to help them learn and grow as a nurse leader.

The Obstetrics RN Coordinator will be in charge of overseeing that care provided by nurses is efficient and thorough during their shift.  This involves keeping staff up to date with current best practices and making sure they are following guidelines set by the hospital. In addition, the position requires collaboration with the Manager and other service line coordinators to achieve the highest level of operational and clinical efficiency that aligns with the hospital’s standards and values. The Obstetrics RN Coordinator will also have opportunities to develop their staff through education and quality improvement initiatives, as well as impacting the happiest day of a new parent’s life. 

The Southwest Kansas area is known for their celebration of Old Western heritage and small town living.
