Steel Production Worker  

Penmac Staffing has immediate openings for their Production worker position at a Springfield steel shop. This is a Temp-to-Hire position, our client is looking for a full-time candidate. This is an excellent opportunity for advancement. 

Employees in this classification are required to have an entry level knowledge of ordinary manufacturing operations.  

Shift: Will train on 1st, but must be prepared to go to any shift 

Pay: $16.09 per hour, raise after hire

Responsibilities can include:

*Prepare parts and equipment for shipment by packing, boxing and crating 

*Build, assemble, test and repair components, subassemblies and assemblies  

*Assists craftsmen, fabricators and other production workers, as needed 

*Operates equipment (rolls, shears, brakes, forming equipment) 

Requirements include:

*High School Diploma or equivalent, preferred 

*Ability to read a tape measure 

*Basic Math skills 

*Basic computer knowledge
