Plant Accountant

Our client, in the Manufacturing Industry is seeking a Plant Accountant to join their team (full time - permanent position). The ideal candidate will have good interpersonal, communication and accounting skills, which will align successfully in the organization.

 

Job Title: Plant Accountant

Location: Ladysmith, WI (Remote hybrid)

Pay Range: 65k - 75k

Full Time - Permanent

 

What’s the Job?

• Responsible for all manufacturing accounting functions.
• Compiles and sorts financial information to establish and maintain the standard cost and perpetual inventory systems
• Responsible for setting standards for raw material cost, labor routings and roll-ups and providing recommendations for cost efficiency
• Performs a variety of accounting tasks, applying accepted procedures to the preparation and maintenance of accounting records
• Prepares annual budget for manufacturing facility, reviews monthly Actual vs. Budget spending reports and discusses variances with plant manager.

 

What’s Needed?

• EDUCATION: A two year accounting degree with commensurate accounting experience or a four year accounting degree
• A minimum of 3 years of previous manufacturing experience in cost accounting is preferred.
• The position requires exceptional computer and calculator skills, MS Excel.
• JDEdwards and AS400 systems is preferred.
• Paradigm Software experience a plus, not required
