Manager, Financial Data Lake

What success looks like in this role:

• Responsible for internal reporting which satisfies the requirements of client groups

• Sets and directs action plans

• Understands functional concepts and drives results

• Encourages others to consider innovative alternatives and contributes to business strategy

• May manage one or more teams of professionals

You will be successful in this role if you have:

• Undergraduate degree with major in Finance, Accounting, Economics or Data Analytics (required); and a minimum of 5 years of experience in related area

• Strong analytical skills, with advanced experience in ETL and dashboard development using Power-BI

• Experience working with and designing relational data models

• Experience with SQL programming language and Power-BI DAX

• Experience utilizing modern data warehouses and data lakes for data extraction and analysis

• Ability to partner with the business to provide insights and analytical support on financial and metric data

• Proactively look for opportunities to streamline the reporting environment, improve processes, leverage new tools and create automation

• Familiarity with common financial systems and experience in system interaction

• Experience working in a global organization (preferred)

• Effective communication skills expressed through conversation, instructing, written memos, written work instructions and flow charts

• Strong presentation skills including the ability to successfully represent data and ideas

• Ability to work in a team environment and lead special projects
