Construction Project Manager - Dyess Air Force Base

PRIME AE Group, Inc. (), a multi-faceted and rapidly growing A/E firm with 18 office locations and 475+ employees throughout the Midwest, Mid-Atlantic, Southeast, and Northeast, is seeking a Construction Project Manager for onsite client work at Dyess AFB, Texas.

Primary Focus:

The primary focus of this role will be to provide on-site quality assurance services during the necessary three (3) phases of control (Preparatory Phase, Initial Phase, and Follow-Up Phase) for construction projects.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assures that the Construction Contractor is fulfilling the obligations of the contract and schedule and working in compliance with accepted Quality Control and Health and Safety Plans.
• Monitors construction progress as described herein and attend construction management and review meetings.
• Evaluates progress in accordance with approved schedule and provides recommendations associated with schedule compliance.
• Assists the Government COR with validation and review of progress payments consistent with approved earned value schedule of values.
• Monitor Contractor performance by providing Title II observation coverage at all times during the performance of construction activities; and notify the COR when coverage cannot be maintained.
• Reports unsatisfactory work promptly verbally and via written notification.
• Ensures labor standards and compliance by enforcing the Labor Standards Provision of the construction contract.
• Facilitates Project Closeout by observing and documenting pre-final and final inspections and testing of all systems.
• Keeps and maintains accurate and detailed written records of project progress as required by this SOW.
• Prepares and submits daily reports to the COR on the status of construction, including written records and updated copies of all logs maintained at the site.
• Reviews all documentation and/or correspondence submitted by the Construction Contractor, including but not limited to RFIs, construction submittals, contractor payment requests, schedules, and claims.

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management or equivalent; 5 years of experience or 10 years of experience as a construction inspector as a Lead Inspector can substitute for the degree.
• 15 years construction inspection experience.
• No less than five (5) years of experience in construction practices, procedures, and testing, to include three (3) years of quality control management of DoD construction projects.
• Certified completion of a professionally accredited Quality Control Management Course (e.g., conducted by the US Army Corps of Engineers or an independent private company) within the last five (5) years; Contractor's self-developed programs will not fulfill this requirement.
• Technical expertise to perform payment inspections and validation of progress against the AF IMT 3065 forms.
