What part will you play?

The purpose of the Video Broadcast/Production Support Engineer is to provide technical support, maintenance, and engineering for business video and media operations under the direction of the Lead Engineer. The role is responsible for the successful technical delivery of programs.

What will you be doing?

  • Video Production Control Room Equipment Implementation, Troubleshooting and Operatio
    • Ultrix, Xpressions, Ross Carbonite, Dante audio
    • NDI, SDI and other industry standard video formats
  • Broadcast studio grid lighting
  • Field & live sound reinforcement audio equipment
  • IP/Networking infrastructure management
  • Video backhaul systems, webcasting platforms, and operation
    • LiveU, Microsoft Teams, QUMU, MediaPlatform
  • Streaming media and webcasting technical support
  • Liaise with the client and its designees or other stakeholders in the specifications and fulfillment of technologies for special events
  • Technical drawings and maintenance of repositories
  • Video capture and delivery
  • Manage and perform routine testing, break/fix, troubleshooting including recognition of failed components, prior to broadcast production
  • Vendor relations point of contact
  • Other duties as assigned

What do we require from you?

  • This position requires understanding of video and audio production technology; general business practices and office procedures; the ability to adhere to department and company policies and procedures; and good customer relations. Must be computer literate. Advanced knowledge of video, television, audio, and teleconferencing equipment is necessary. Must be able to lift or move up to 50lbs. Candidate should have strong technical problem-solving skills.
  • Must possess the ability to think on your feet and make decisions on your own. Must be motivated. This is a self-starter position and requires someone who can work with a group as well as individually, in a corporate environment. Effective and efficient quality of work is required. This position also will expose the individual to a great deal of confidential information. It is important the individual understands the importance of being discrete. Must have the ability to work as a team player and provide back up as necessary.

Preferred Qualifications of the Video Broadcast/Production Support Engineer:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 1-3 Years AV or Video Production experience
  • Will train the right candidate
