Key Responsibilities:
Performs maintenance service and repairs in the areas of electrical, HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, machine servicing, plastering and painting
Oversees inspections, repairs, renovations, and equipment installation projects
Responsible for working with managers, outside vendors and contractors for ongoing projects and the daily operation of the building
Knowledgeable with procedures and safety measures within all aforementioned fields
Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures with electrical, HVAC and plumbing industries
Utilizes experience and judgment to accomplish projects under general supervision
Special projects as assigned


Qualifications:
2 years minimum experience
Working knowledge and repairs in building electrical (480V/ 3 Ph.), mechanical (HVAC) and commercial plumbing. Electrical experience including changing breakers, light ballasts, motors and familiar with high voltage electrical panels.
Experience in conveyor (carton) maintenance and repair. Understanding zero pressure controls and programming of pho eyes. Skills to include conveyor PM requirements, motor replacements, chain and sprocket replacement, belt lacing and tracing. Abilities to include diagnosing mechanical and electrical conveyor issues and make appropriate repairs.
Perform building inspections and minor repairs including paintings, dock doors, dock levelers, and office furniture assembly.
Effective written and oral communication skills and computer knowledge including ability to keep accurate reporting and records in facility management software.
Have own basic hand tools.
