Class A Transport Truck Driver - Full-time

Our hard-working team is in need of a Class A CDL Transport Driver in Cedar Rapids.  Hours are defined and flexibility to work Saturdays with one day off per week required.  Guaranteed 8 hours per day!

Successful candidate will work independently and be a quick learner.  Responsibilities include a pre-trip inspection of truck/trailer combination.    Deliveries may include boxes, cases or 80-gallon carts.  Dock or hoist deliveries will depend on the route.   All paperwork must be completed and returned at the end of the route.

Starting pay is $25.42/hr for 90-day probationary period. After successful completion of 90-day probationary period, rate will increase to $26.42/hr.   When fully trained, utility gets $0.50/hr additional pay = $26.92/hr.

Requirements:

• Applicants must possess a Class A CDL license with air brake and manual transmission endorsements
• Must have high school diploma/GED and clean driving record
• Experience with customer service 
• Must be able to sit for long periods of time and lift 50 lbs on a regular basis
• Applicants must be able to read and write English
