The Naval Nuclear Laboratory comprises the U.S. Department of Energy locations and personnel responsible for developing advanced naval nuclear propulsion technology, providing technical support to ensure the safety and reliability of our nation’s naval nuclear reactors, and training the Sailors who operate those reactors in the U.S. Navy’s submarines and aircraft carrier Fleets. We are dedicated solely to the support of the United States Naval Nuclear Propulsion Program. The Naval Nuclear Laboratory is operated by Fluor Marine Propulsion, LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of Fluor Corporation. Job Description This position will directly support Navy operations through the processing of spent nuclear fuel in an industrial environment. Once qualified, work will include leading a team of trades personnel (e.g., crane operators and riggers, quality inspectors, technicians) to meet goals and objectives in support of our mission. This is a high-visibility position with great responsibility and visibility with senior management. Required Combination of Knowledge and Skill BS degree in engineering or Bachelor's degree in a science related field from an accredited college or university required.
