RN First Assist - Registered Nurse - Full-time

Experience:

• 36 months of RN First Assist experience is required.

• Experience with Epic is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Pennsylvania license or compact license in hand at the time of application.

• Travel and Local candidates are eligible to apply for this role.

Hours: Monday - Friday, 7a-3:30p

Guaranteed Hours: 40

Call requirement - Every 3rd weekend call rotation (Friday 1530 to Monday 0700), weeknight call TBD

Looking for experienced and highly skilled RNFA with strong background in Cardiovascular Surgery and Heart and Lung Transplantation. Must have excellent endoscopic vessel harvesting expertise.

Bachelors Degree: Nursing (Required)

Graduate of accredited school of Nursing; successful completion of additional educational preparation specific to the role of RNFA including supervised clinical component (Required)

Three (3) years experience in Cardiovascular Surgery and Heart/Lung Transplantation (Required)

General Experience demonstrating skills in intraoperative nursing behaviors - handling tissue, using instruments, providing exposure, providing hemostasis (Required)

2 references from last 12 months (Manager/Supervisor reference type)

• CNOR (Certified Nurse Operating Room)
