Electrical Designer - Entry Level

So what will you be doing all day? You would join us as an Electrical Designer working on things like...

• Technical design and quality control on projects for assigned projects
• Assisting in the production of construction documents (drawings and specifications) for new buildings, renovations and additions to existing facilities as needed
• Reviewing and maintaining quality control of documents
• Providing coordination of project designs with other disciplines
• Maintaining and generating positive client relationships
• Site data collection and analysis (travel optional)

We'd love for you to apply for this position if you...

• A degree in Architectural or Electrical Engineering preferred
• 1+ years of relevant experience, or 3+ years of relevant experience without a degree
• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) is required
• Proficiency in the use of AutoCAD and Revit engineering modeling tools (required)
• Proficiency in the use of SKM Tools (preferred)
• Past or current working experience with utility service entrance and power distribution design
• Past or current working experience in arc flash analysis
• Related experience in the design of commercial building electrical systems
• Knowledge of applicable building electrical and energy codes
• Effective communication skills, verbal and written, with peers, Clients, Owners and Contractors
• The ability to meet fast-paced deadlines while maintaining quality design
• The ability to work effectively with both in-office and remote team members
