What you will do

As a Junior level HVAC Electrical Controls Installer you will be responsible for quality installation of conduit cable for Controls Systems, and performing other tasks under the supervision of Senior Installers for routine installation on a variety of systems utilizing codes, company procedures and engineering drawings. As well as interfacing with the customer to ensure confidence and satisfaction with the system installation. 

This role is perfect for someone in the early stage of their electrical career, who already has the ability and knowledge to run conduit and is ready to learn and be mentored by more senior HVAC Controls Installers and Project Managers to grow their career in the field.

How you will do it

• Installs raceways, cables and wiring to meet local or national codes, standards, and customer system requirements. 

• Mounts and terminates controls equipment as needed. 

• Keeps management and senior installers informed of job needs, progress and issues. 

• Completes paperwork, including but not limited to time sheets, expense reports, and on-site documentation.

• Provides feedback to Lead Installer, Project Manager and Owners on changes and keeps as-built drawings current. 

• Escalates concerns regarding installation issues to management as required. 

• Communicates with the customer as necessary upon arrival and before leaving the work site. 

• Adheres to Johnson Controls safety programs and policies. 

What we look for

Required

• Electrical apprenticeship or formal training in electrical installation techniques.

• Ability to learn knowledge of local codes as it applies to controls.

• Able to work independently under guide of Senior Installers and Management.

Preferred

• One years' experience directly with controls installations.
