A Day in the Life of a Clinical Practice Supervisor:

The Clinical Practice Supervisor is responsible for managing the daily operations related to clinical care in line with clinical practice standards. Assists with responsibilities of front office as needed.

What You Will Be Doing:

1. Oversees clinical nursing care, ensuring compliance with established regulations and standards including quality assurance, confidentiality, and medical record documentation.

2. Provides direct supervision to clinical staff, ensuring appropriate assessment and treatment of patient health.

3. Serves as key problem-solving resource for staff on patient issues.

4. Studies patient needs/trends and suggest solutions to ongoing patient care problems.

5. Collaborates with practice leaders on development and implementation of nursing department’s mission, goals, policies, procedures, budget quality assurance plan, and work standards.

6. Coordinates front office functions with the clinical staff and physician(s) for seamless patient care.

7. Oversees orientation and training including cross-training to ensure staff availability and coverage requirements.

8. Accountable to leadership for clinic responsibilities of the organization’s accrediting bodies, including ensuring the standards of the governing body are implemented and ensuring the standards are met by individuals under the direct supervision of this role.

· Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail

· Ability to assess, evaluate, teach, problem solve using critical thinking and perform calculations from a clinical and business aspect

· Ability to adapt to changes in routine clinical practice and business office functions, while managing the stressors of this environment

· Ability to establish and maintain cooperative relationships

· Knowledge of clinical equipment

· Computer skills including Excel and MSWord

· Ability to learn new software programs in a practice management and electronic health record environment

Here Is What You Will Need:

· Wyoming Registered Nurse (RN) License or enhanced Nurse Licensure (eNLC)

· Two (2) or more years of experience in a clinical setting

· Cheyenne Regional AHA RQI within 14 calendar days of start date

· CRMG Wyoming Orthopedics and Sports Medicine: RN License requirement may be replaced by a Wyoming Athletic Trainer license and National Athletic Trainer Association (NATA) certification

Nice To Have:

· Management and/or staffing experience in a clinical setting
