Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Dental Patient Coordinator and Treatment Plan Coordinator who has in-depth knowledge of PPO dental insurances. In this role, you will be responsible for taking new patient calls, presenting new treatment plans and assisting patients with their dental insurance needs. In addition, you will also assist with treatment coordination of our General Anesthesia and Periodontal patients. The ideal candidate will have experience in creating treatment plans according to what dental insurances are expected to cover, excellent communication skills, and a strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

• Answering new patient calls and inquiries
• Verify patients' health insurance benefits.
• Present new treatment plans to patients
• Explain insurance benefits to patients.
• Enter data using dental practice management software.
• Serve as treatment coordinator for our General Anesthesia and Perio patients
• Generate reports for all activities.

Requirements:

• 1 year or more of dental insurance billing experience is required.
• Proficient knowledge of PPO Dental Insurance.
• Experience with Dentrix Ascend Practice Management software preferred.
• Knowledge of dental procedures and insurance billing codes.
• Positive attitude and ability to work effectively with a TEAM.
• Excellent and Positive verbal and written communication skills.
• High school degree, GED, or related.
• Strong focus and attention to detail and organization in work.
• Professionalism in all aspects of the job.
