D4W Logistics LLC is looking for experienced Class A CDL Truck Drivers to help support our growing and diverse dry van customer base. Our company is located in Tallmadge, Ohio. The primary operating area for our division is Indiana, Ohio, Illinois, Kentucky, Michigan & Pennsylvania with plans to grow nationwide!

 D4W LOGISTICS - CLASS A CDL DRIVER

In this truck driving position, you play an essential role in making sure freight is delivered to the required destination. You are responsible for operating a 53-foot tractor-trailer while abiding by all FMCSA/DOT rules and regulations. You pride yourself in keeping yourself and everyone else on the roadways safe. Before getting on the road, you carefully inspect your truck and trailer. If you come across any issues or hazards, you immediately report them to the supervisor. Upon receiving an assignment, you head out on the road to transport materials wherever they need to be. You ensure that the freight always arrives in excellent condition and that the services you provide consistently exceed customer expectations. You always comply with trucking rules and regulations regarding size, weight, and route designations. As you drive, you prioritize keeping an open line of communication with dispatch. The work can sometimes be challenging, but you are always able to end your day feeling a sense of accomplishment. Every day is a new opportunity and you make the best of it! Job Requirements:

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
• Valid Medical Card (MEC)
• Pass a DOT physical
• 1+ Year of verifiable Class A CDL solo driving experience operating a tractor trailer without a trainer
• Recent commercial driving experience in the last 1-3 years
• Must have 48’-53' tractor trailer experience
• Must pass a company road test.
• Must have knowledge of DOT regulations governing safe driving, hours of service, inspection and maintenance, and transportation of materials (experience with Motive ELD’s a plus)
• Ensure compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines- maintaining accurate records and logs
• Detecting and eliminating or minimizing safety hazards 
• Cell phone with Bluetooth capabilities, ability to understand applications (Motive, Rose Rocket, and Mudflap)
• Must be able to pass a criminal background and drug/alcohol test
• No drug or alcohol convictions of any kind in previous 10 years
• Clean MVR/PSP Reports (we check them all) 
• No more than two (2) moving violations while operating a personal or commercial motor vehicle in the last three (3) years.
• No serious traffic violations while operating a commercial motor vehicle in the last three (3) years.
• No preventable accidents* while operating a commercial motor vehicle in the last three (3) years.
• No preventable DOT recordable accidents* (collisions resulting in disabling damage and/or immediate medical treatment away from the scene) while operating a commercial motor vehicle in the last ten (10) years.
• No preventable accident* resulting in a fatality or catastrophic injury in driving history (commercial motor vehicle).

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be able to accurately read gauges and dials.
• Must be able to enter and exit the vehicle's cab using footholds and handholds.
• May be exposed to heat, cold, dust, irritants, etc.
• Specific physical demands include, but are not limited to:
• Carrying: Occasional, up to 50 lbs., up to 40 feet
• Pushing: Occasional, up to 70lbs. of force, up to 100 feet
• Pulling: Occasional, up to 70lbs. of force, up to 100 feet
• Lifting - Floor to Knee, Knee to Waist, Waist to Shoulder: Occasional, up to 50 lbs.
• Stooping, Twisting, Balancing, Bending, Climbing, Crouching, Kneeling, Reaching (below shoulder), Standing: Occasional
• Reaching (shoulder or above), Sitting: Frequent
