Tutor/Teacher (Home Tutor)

We are looking for a Private Tutor at our Company office in Schaumburg IL or in Hoffman Estates, IL Our student is a gifted 9 year old boy that excels in school and we are looking for a tutor to work with him in Math and Science twice a week for 2 hours each session. Sessions need to be scheduled after 3.00 pm Pay; $50 an hour Responsibilities Reviewing classroom or curricula topics and assignments Help him understand key concepts, especially those learned in the classroom Teaching skills to improve academic performance, including study strategies, note-taking skills and approaches to answering test questions Conducting practice tests to track progress, identify areas of improvement and help set goals for exam preparation Providing students positive and constructive feedback Recognizing different learning styles and student preferences Staying up to date with the school curriculum Plan creative lessons to engage and educate students Connect with parents and keep them informed of student's progress and areas to be improved Required Experience: Previous experience teaching Mathematics and Science
