Your role.
Your work will include, but not be limited to:
- Manage global mobility engagements for U.S. Expats working outside the U.S. or Foreign Nationals working in the U.S., including:
- build and maintain client relationships and proactively manage the client deliverable
- review US federal and state income tax returns
- review of tax equalizations, hypothetical tax calculations, and cost projections
- conduct exit and entrance interviews with assignees
- Provide consulting advisory services on foreign assignments, tax treaty applications, and more
- Develop, coordinate, and supervise projects of tax staff and interns
- Take active role in practice development by promoting GMS services internally and externally
The qualifications.
- 4+ years recent experience in public accounting, specializing in global mobility tax
- Demonstrated skills in the areas identified in job description above.
- Bachelor's degree
- CPA preferred. In lieu of CPA an EA or JD is required
- Position may be filled as a Senior or Manager based on experience level.
- Qualified individuals must either reside in or near the Southeast Michigan, West Michigan, Denver, or Chicago area or be willing to relocate to these areas for this opportunity.
