Medical Officer of the Day

Responsibilities include providing medical care in the Urgent Care Clinic, to residents in Community Living Center units, covering as a hospitalist, and responding to medical emergencies. The Urgent Care Clinic is open from 7:00am to 7:00pm Monday through Friday, and Holiday and Weekends from 7:00am to 5:00pm. The primary work schedule is a compressed schedule, typically working 40 hours over a 3-day period.

Hospitalist - Admit and manage inpatients with general adult medical illnesses. Includes performing histories and physical examinations, rounding on patients, writing progress notes, discharge planning and timely completion of discharge summaries.
