The NP/PA provides high-quality and cost-effective medical management of patients under the care of the physician and within the State scope of practice. The Nurse Practitioner collaborates with the physician to coordinate and manage the process of patient care. Provides expanded primary health care services for a case load of patients in the areas of clinical specialization.
Family Care Center of Taylorsville is Iredell Health System's largest clinic with 3 physicians, 4 family nurse practitioners and one physician assistant. The practice has its own lab and radiology services.
4 Day Workweek!
Schedule: 8am-5pm, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday. Friday.
Requirements
Nurse Practitioner
- Graduate from an accredited school of Nursing with MSN or DNP.
- Licensed as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) in North Carolina
or.....
Physician Assistant
- Graduate from an accredited Physician Assistant program with a masters degree.
- Licensed as a Physician Assistant (PA) in North Carolina.
- Ability to work as member of a team.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Fundamental knowledge of PC based applications. .
