Your Role:

As a Geotechnical Project Engineer, you will lead geotechnical projects with minimal guidance and contribute to a variety of projects ranging from subsurface explorations to construction support. Beyond showcasing your geotechnical expertise, this role allows you to mentor junior staff, engage with clients, and drive business development to ensure the ongoing success of S&ME. Your day-to-day responsibilities as a Geotechnical Project Engineer include planning and scheduling geotechnical field explorations, preparing proposals and reports, analyzing lab test results to apply geotechnical principles for foundations and slope stability, and effectively bridging technical and non-technical communication to convey design intricacies to both clients and project teams.

What You Need:

• A Bachelor's degree in civil or geotechnical engineering, or related field
• A minimum of 4 years work experience in geotechnical engineering
• A Professional Engineer (PE) license

This is a full-time position with competitive pay based on experience. The successful candidate must meet the requirements of the company's Fleet Management Program, Substance Policy, and Reference Check Program.
