Shift:   Day Shift

Responsibilities

What You’ll Do 

The Registered Nurse—PACU is responsible for delivery of patient care through the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. 

The successful candidate will be able to: 

  • Coordinate all nursing care for patients based on established clinical nursing practice standards 
  • Collaborating with other professional disciplines to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery and the achievement of desired patient outcomes  
  • Contributing to the provision of quality nursing care through performance improvement techniques that demonstrate positive outcomes in patient care 
  • Analyze assessment data in determining patient problems  
  • Identify expected outcomes individualized to the patient 
  • Develop a comprehensive plan of care that prescribes interventions to attain expected outcomes 
  • Implement interventions identified in the plan of care 
  • Evaluate patient’s progress toward attainment of outcomes 
  • Assist with the plan of care, evaluate, modify and coordinate care, and communicate well with other disciplines 
  • Delegate task to unlicensed personnel in compliance with the Board of Nursing

Qualifications

Requirements

  • Associate’s Degree in Nursing required, Bachelor's Degree preferred 
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience as an RN in a hospital setting preferred
  • Current valid OK State Professional Registered Nurse License
  • Must maintain a current certification in BLS, ACLS, PALS
  • Position requires fluency in English language to function in job environment appropriately
