THE ROLE: Senior Project Manager, DBSS

Job Summary:

Presidio is looking for Project Manager with experience leading large IT projects and initiatives including scope, schedule, resources, quality, costs, and change control. The role will work directly with all levels of leadership and individual contributors throughout the organization, across departments and partners.

Overall, the Project Manager will support the identification, evaluation, prioritization, implementation and execution of processes that improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the organization across all practices.

Travel Requirements:

This is a remote role, but you may be expected to travel up to 25%.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage a portfolio of projects and initiatives across multiple service offerings. Including, but not limited to, partner competencies, renewals and audits, defining and improving standard offerings and delivery kits, and other practice projects.
  • Manage expectations and requirements of multiple stakeholders, including internal, partner sponsors and stakeholders.
  • Create and maintain a backlog of work, work with leadership to prioritize projects and/or initiatives.
  • Close collaboration and alignment with the delivery and sales team leadership to drive consistent business value for our customers and support Presidio's goals and objectives.
  • Develop comprehensive project and program plans to track tasks, schedule, risks and issues to be shared with the project and leadership team.
  • Oversee the activities of various stakeholders (status meetings, working sessions, etc.).
  • Ensure deadlines and targets are met and lead resolution of issues/escalations to Presidio leadership when necessary.
  • Serve as a liaison across departments on the project or initiative.
  • Lead definition of success metrics and tracking to show results and measure effectiveness (experience with OKRs preferred).
  • Oversee and drive continuous improvement.
    • Facilitate teams to critically review current processes for effectiveness, quality and simplification.
    • Develop and implement process solutions to improve operational efficiency.
    • Identify and champion the selection of process improvement activities across the business line.

Required Skills:

  • Demonstrable skills across project management standard methodologies (PMI/PMBOK, Agile, SCRUM, Kanban, Waterfall).
  • Proficient in Confluence, Jira, and Microsoft Project.
  • Familiarity with Smartsheet, Trello, Teamwork, Zoho, and similar project management toolsets.
  • Experience working with the Microsoft Office suite of tools (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and SharePoint).
  • Demonstrates leadership and problem-solving skills, ability to motivate others.
  • Project and Program Management skills.

  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to learn quickly, adapt to change, and have ownership of staying up to date on current and emerging technologies and tools as they relate to our business and customer needs.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and/or military experience.
  • 6+ years of experience in IT project management and general IT consulting.
  • PMP or similar professional certification.
  • CSM or similar professional certification.
  • Lean Six Sigma or similar professional certification.
  • Experience leading projects and programs which leverage AWS, Azure and GCP technologies.
