We are seeking a talented and driven Sales Manager to our team. Your main objectives will be to increase growth, generate revenue, and ensure customer/client satisfaction.

Elitsac, Inc. is a small, family-owned business located in Castile, NY, near Letchworth State Park. We are primarily a building materials supplier but we also have a retail hardware store and lumberyard, a rental equipment operation, and a rapidly growing installed sales operation. We have experienced significant growth in the past five years and we see numerous alternative avenues for growth that we are not currently operating in. We are looking for an individual to take advantage of these opportunities.

This position will be primarily managing, guiding, and assisting our sales team to increase sales. The work environment is fast-paced. There are constant deadlines that we need to meet on a regular basis during the bidding process as well as the construction process.

We use Revu by Bluebeam as our estimating software. A familiarity with this software or similar would be helpful. We also have an ERP system that we use called Spruce by ECI. All of our quotes, sales, orders, purchase orders, etc. run through Spruce.

Compensation is negotiable but would be commensurate with experience and skills/knowledge that you bring to the table. Compensation format will be base plus a commission program. As with most things in life, you will get out of this position what you put into it.

Responsibilities:

  • Present and sell company products and services to new and existing customers
  • Work with our sales staff to prospect and contact potential customers
  • Create and implement sales strategies and goals
  • Assist and guide our sales staff to help them reach the goals that you create
  • Resolve customer inquiries and complaints
  • Manage follow-up on bids and quotes
  • Facilitate the creation of sales material for our sales staff to present to customers

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in sales, customer service, or other related fields
  • Knowledge of the building materials and/or construction industry
  • Experience managing sales staff
  • Ability to build rapport with clients and employees
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Highly organized and the ability to leverage resources to create systems
  • Deadline and detail-oriented
