Your Opportunity: Reporting to the SVP of Business Development at Taylor Enterprise Solutions, the sole focus of the Business Development Manager will be to prospect and close new business with global brand customers by creating and fulfilling customer communication programs requiring a diverse range of our solutions, including document management, transactional communications, warehousing and distribution services, retail graphics programs, and much more.

You will be part of an elite sales team that is entirely focused on finding and winning the largest, most high-profile new deals in the corporation.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Leverage modern selling strategies to effectively acquire new business and then build a new opportunity pipeline with Fortune 2000-level companies in specific market verticals: Financial, Insurance, Healthcare, Distributors, Non-Profits, Automotive, and Retail
  • Represent all affiliates of Taylor Corporation to address the customers' needs by aligning value-based solutions with the customer's objectives
  • Understand the underlying forces and direction of specific markets, and then leverage this insight to create new business opportunities with customers
  • Apply the techniques of Insight Selling to cultivate the many possibilities to meet the customer's wishes and essential requirements
  • Navigate through available solutions while determining the view of the decision maker(s)

You Must Have:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 10+ years of experience in consultative selling and hunting for new sales opportunities
  • Experience selling to C-Level executives with Fortune 2000 companies
  • A highly motivated self-starter mentality with disciplined persistence and intensity
  • Proven sales ability and strengths meeting diverse customer needs
  • Superior-level listening and discovery/diagnosis skills
  • Technical aptitude to interface with operation and manufacturing teams
  • Experience with complex sales
  • Ability to work independently with a high degree of integrity
  • Demonstrated commitment to professional development
  • Ability to effectively use CRM systems to track relevant activity data and maximize results
