Triumvirate Environmental, one of the largest environmental services firms in North America, is seeking an Environmental Technician for our King of Prussia, PA team.

This dynamic, highly motivated, empathetic individual will be responsible for handling chemicals and hazardous waste in small and large containers.

This position reports to the Onsite Support Service Manager. This role is onsite and is based in King of Prussia, PA.

Essential responsibilities:

• Safely collect hazardous and biological waste across client site and transfer to a central storage location.
• Properly store waste in compliance with federal and state regulations.
• Provide clients with high-quality and professional customer service.
• Operate equipment onsite including box truck and forklift.
• Utilize Triumvirate's computer programs to track waste metrics and inventory.
• Prepare waste shipments in compliance with EPA and DOT regulations.
• Emergency response for environmental spills onsite.
• Maintain good attendance and punctuality.

Basic Requirements:

• Valid driver's license.
• Clean driving record.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to wear a respirator for 2-4 hour per week.
• Verbal and written communication skills.
• Interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
• Duties, responsibilities, and activities may change, or new ones may be assigned at any time with or without notice.
• Successful completion of OSHA/DOT physical examination which includes drug and alcohol screening.

Preferred Requirements:

• Comfortable operating independently without supervision
• Class C driver's license
• Basic knowledge of, or interest in, the hazardous waste field
