Job Duties
• Perform trailer movements between multiple facilities in Saint Joseph, MO and our local customers based on their needs.
• Complete daily equipment inspections per company requirements.
• Follows all regulations and speed limits when on public roads as well as on company property and the property of all customers.
• Complete necessary daily paperwork. Includes pre-trip and trailer inspection sheets.
• Communicate with other drivers and administration staff, contributes to and maintains a positive work environment.
• Responsible for maintaining clean trucks and trailers.
• Employee will, on occasion, be required to assist with warehouse duties in between trailer moves. This will include manual warehouse operations as well as operating a pallet jack.

• Holds safety in high regard, follows all safety rules for equipment and general warehouse operations. Takes responsibility for their own safety by acting in a safe manner at all times. Takes responsibility for the safety of co-workers by calling out un-safe behavior on the spot.
• Develop and maintain excellent customer service to internal and external customers at all times. Be willing and able to adapt to customers changing needs.

Requirements

• High school education or GED required, Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum 3 years experience driving commercial vehicles.
• CDL A with no restrictions
