The Nurse Supervisor of Mother Baby Unit MBU will work with a Medical Center that is voted "Best Place to Work." The Nurse Supervisor of Postpartum Unit will report directly to the Nurse Manager of Perinatal Services. The Mother Baby Unit MBU Nurse Supervisor will be supported by Perinatal Nurse Educator, Charge Nurses and approximately 80 highly skilled staff nurses.

The Mother Baby Unit MBU Nurse Supervisor will be responsible for smooth day-to-day operations, budgeting, scheduling, performance improvement measures, compliance, staff development and core measures. The Nurse Supervisor of Women's and Infant's Unit will collaborate closely with the Director of Women's and Children's Services in strategic planning and program development.

The Obstetrics Postpartum Unit Nurse Supervisor will need to demonstrate leadership ability, effective communication skills, ability to deal well with people, effective problem solving skills, ability to resolve issues and motivate others, ability to effectively plan, organize and direct the activities of others.
