Multiple shifts open:
Monticello: 4:00AM - 1:30PM, 4:00PM - 1:30AM, 5:00PM - 2:00AM, or 8:00PM - 5:00AM
Monroe: 1:00PM - 9:30PM or 2:30AM - 11:00AM

Job Details

Responsibilities:

1. Perform routine and preventive maintenance on all production and operating equipment to ensure maximum efficiency and longevity.
2. Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair a wide range of equipment, including HVAC, refrigeration, boilers, and electrical systems.
3. Operate and maintain VFD (Variable Frequency Drive) and PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) systems.
4. Work in compliance with food manufacturing safety and hygiene standards.
5. Maintain and repair mechanical and hydraulic systems, ensuring they are in optimal working condition.
6. Respond promptly to emergency breakdowns and perform corrective actions.
7. Keep accurate records of all maintenance, repair, and service activities.
8. Collaborate with other team members to improve efficiency and overall performance of the plant.
9. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and suggest changes to enhance operational efficiency.
10. Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.

Qualifications:

1. A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role within the manufacturing industry.
2. Proven experience in maintaining and repairing HVAC, refrigeration, boilers, and electrical systems.
3. Proficient in operating and maintaining VFD and PLC systems.
4. Strong knowledge of mechanical and hydraulic systems.
5. Experience in preventive maintenance and equipment repair.
6. Familiarity with food manufacturing standards and regulations.
7. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
8. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
9. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
10. Must be physically fit and able to lift heavy objects.
11. Willingness to work in different shifts, including weekends and holidays, if required.
12. A valid driver’s license may be required.
