Electrical/Mechanical Maintenance Technician - Sign on bonus$$$

Quest Group is searching for an Electrical Maintenance Technician for a highly respected global organization located in Bradford, PA! This role is a blend between equipment and electrical maintenance. at this facility installed a new corrugator – need techs with a strong electronics/electrical background for this new equipment as well as mechanical knowledge but heavy on the electrical side.

RESPONSIBILITIES (some of the cool stuff you'll get to do):

• If you bring 2 or more years or previous related experience in industrial, manufacturing or military environments with knowledge of advanced motors and frequency drive troubleshooting, experience with reading and understanding electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics, the ability to troubleshoot issues with bearings, chains, sprockets, gearboxes and conveyors and PLC's or two year mechanical maintenance degree with experience troubleshooting and maintaining the above equipment, 3 or more years troubleshoot drives, PLCs --- class B or A would expect to have that much,

we need to chat!

• Hydraulics - how to make hoses, understand principles on how hydraulics work
• Welding and fabricating is helpful but not required
• Machining experience - trying to do more in house
• Precision alignment of drives, belts - aware that eye balling is not good
• Need to be willing to travel for 1 week for Electrical Safe Work Practices
• Will also travel to another site to train for a month

This is a 24/7 plant with a new schedule of 2-2-3 schedule (12 hour shifts – 7pm-7am or 7am-7pm) Night Shift to begin . Additionally, you must be available to work overtime, holidays and alternating weekends. Travel and training opportunities are available to ensure career growth!
