Triage RN - Full-time / Part-time

Insight Global is seeking a Triage RN to join an out-patient Cancer Treatment Center in Sparta NJ. This role will be a mix of assessing the patient and going over their history before they see the doctor as well as supporting the patients over the phones. This may include call backs, refilling patient drug prescriptions, setting up transfusions, etc. This role is perfect for an experience RN looking for a change of pace and wanting to still treat patients in a different setting. The main purpose of this role is to ensure patient success, meaning that if new patients come in the Triage RN is responsible for writing their story from all previous medical history and paths they have taken until coming to RCCA. They need to fill in the gaps of where this patient has been, what have they been seen and done for healthcare treatment, who have they spoken to; the entire backstory so that the RCCA Oncologist can pick up where other doctors have left off. This person needs to be very equipped at multitasking, prioritizing, and making sure the job gets done for everyone they are supporting. * Oncology experience

* Triage experience
* RN License for the state of NJ

* 3-5+yrs of RN experience within any field (ER, Med Surge, OR, other Triage)

* Strong ability to multitask and prioritize patient cases

* Compassion for completing all job duties that are patient related until they get done

* Ability to manage the phones and take multiple calls from different patients, referring doctors, follow up conversations, etc

* Ability to manage around 20-30 patients a day
