Production Associate

POLYMAR is a division of Service Filtration Corporation. We are hiring a Production Associate to join our team! You will monitor injection molding machinery, inspect molded parts, perform light assembly, as well helping maintain a clean and organized workspace. We have openings on 2nd and 3rd shifts.

2nd shift hours - 2:50pm to 11:00pm / $17.00 per hour

3rd shift hours - 10:50pm to 7:00am / $18.00 per hour

Responsibilities:

• Monitor injection molding machinery and equipment
• Inspects molded product for surface defects, such as dents and cracks, color variation per inspection standards
• Maintains production paperwork to include defects and scrap counts
• Places plastic runners into storage bins or granulators
• Removes product from mold by hand or using tools
• Trim or remove flash from product
• Place product on cooling fixture to prevent distortion
• Perform de-gating or light assembly during machine cycle
• Adhere to safety policies and procedures

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in production, manufacturing or other related fields
• Ability to sit or stand for long periods
• Ability to handle physical workload and lift up to 40 lbs.
