Cashier

Job Responsibilities:

1. Exercise good public and customer relations skills at all times. Take initiative to greet guests in a friendly and warm manner.

2. Must be able to operate a cash register.

3. Must address all customers quickly with a smile and positive attitude. Ask them "Have you found everything you were looking for?"," Thank you for shopping with us!".

4. Comply with all liquor laws, health regulations, and company policies.

5. Perform all side duties such as cleaning, miscellaneous preparation, stocking, etc.

6. Participate in any additional training and help training others as needed.

7. Support the grocery staff pricing products and stocking shelves as needed.

8. Keeps work area clean at all times.

9. Informs any customer complaints to the Manager on duty. 1

Job Skills & Requirements:

1. High school degree (preferred)

2. Use arithmetic to total costs and make change.

3. Communicate with all people to find out what services they want and provide the information.

4. Stand or walk for varying lengths of time, sometimes for long periods.

5. Move fingers and hands easily and quickly to handle dishes, money, merchandise, etc. Lift and carry heavy items.

6. English and Spanish speaker (preferred)
