The Highway Heavy Carpenter will be responsible for:
Key Duties and Responsibilities
* Instill Safety as a top priority.
* Working with crews building forms and false work.
* Measuring, cutting and installing materials per plans.
* Unloading, handling and stockpiling material.
* Maintains a clean job site; picks up tools, materials and equipment.
* Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
* Knowledgeable in OSHA standards.
* Abel to work at heights.
* Willingness to learn and accept direction from supervisors.
* Ability to work outside in all weather conditions.
* Must have a valid Driver's License with reliable transportation.
* Communication and interpersonal skills are a must.
* Ability to manage time, multitask and prioritize.
Working Conditions
* Travel - This project is located in Overland Park, KS. Subsequent projects will be nationally based.
* Schedule - Work assignment will be weekdays from 7:00am through 3:00pm, with the occasional need to work overtime.
* Construction Site Environment - physical ability to stand, walk, crawl, bend, reach and climb. Lifting and carrying material and objects. Exposed to high noise levels.
