Job DescriptionCompany Description
We are currently seeking Sheet Metal Foremen to join our team! You will be working on Commercial construction projects in the Arkansas City, KS. area.
Responsibilities:
- Supervising installers during the day-to-day field operations.
- Managing a crew, assigning tasks to each employee, communicating all safety issues, and providing Proper Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Selecting the gauge and type of sheet metal based on products being fabricated or installed.
- Coordinating activities of employees
- Interpreting specifications, blueprints, and work orders.
- Interpreting company policies to workers and enforcing safety regulations.
- Being the point of contact between the construction workers and supervise
Qualifications:
● At least 8 years of Lead Commercial experience as a sheet metal
● Proficient with schematics, blueprints, and manuals
● Proficient with equipment and hand tools
● Must be able to handle a physical workload
● Must have own tools and reliable transportation
● Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
