Job Description
Job purpose:
To control and maintain all Blue Prints, so as to organize filing system, update system, and update and maintain catalog system.
Key responsibilities and accountabilities:
- Maintain and develop a complete filing system of Blue Prints.
- Keep proper Blue Prints in the correct controlled area.
- Update and maintain the card catalog system.
- Pull Blue Prints from the uncontrolled area or make uncontrolled copies from the master copy.
- Pull Blue Prints for staff as needed.
- File Blue Prints after job is completed.
- Maintain revision control of all company documents.
The ideal candidate will have the following: Highly organized, very detail oriented, particular about filing order, self-driven, results-oriented with a positive outlook, and enjoys working with numbers. A natural forward planner who critically assesses own performance. Reliable, tolerant, and determined. Well presented and businesslike. Keen sense of responsibility and accountability. Able to get along with others and be a team-player, as well as, work independently.
Computer skills: Must be adept in use of MS Office, particularly Excel and Word, and ideally Access or similar database to basic level, Internet and email.
Numeracy: Must be good with numbers and enjoys working with numbers. Understands filing order and is very particular about that order.
